N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a sulfur containing amino acid that helps normalise compromised glutamatergic neurotransmission. It is a precursor for cysteine- a building block and rate-limiting step in glutathione (GSH) formation

100 g oral powder.
95 mg NAC per 100 g.
Each level included scoop contains 1,000 mg NAC.
Pharmaceutical grade for extemporaneous compounding.
Free from gluten, corn, lactose, egg, sulfites, tree nuts, soy, maltodextrin and magnesium stearate.
Natural orange flavour.
Vegan friendly.

Contraindications/Cautions

Take NAC with food. NAC reduces gastric barrier mucous thickness, so close monitoring is required in patients with H pylori and peptic ulcers.

Nitroglycerin
NAC can increase the risk of hypotension.

Always read the label. If symptoms persist, talk to your healthcare professional. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
